About Angus Mechanical Repairs

Angus Mechanical Repairs has been established in the Penrith area for over twenty years. Aaron & Claire Hills bought the business off Angus McCauley in 2006.

Aaron & Claire have been in business for themselves for over 10 years and decided that an Automotive Business was the way in which they wanted to forge their future.

Aaron started his apprenticeship in Penrith in 1991 and has worked in the local industry for 17 years through a variety of companies and roles.

Aaron has been involved in motor racing since an apprentice through go-karting, taking him to preparing and working as a mechanic in The Australian Rally Championship and at the pinnacle of Australian Motorsport in V8 Supercars. He is still a keen competitor in Motor Racing and heads up the Chamberlin Motorsport team in the Aussie Racing Car series as team boss and engineer.

Claire completed a business Management degree after doing her HSC and then worked in the Insurance Industry until the birth of their first child. Since then she has been involved with Aaron in running small business. The first being a Wastewater Business and now the Mechanical Workshop.

Aaron and Claire have two children aged 8 & 6 and reside in Lawson. Damien is currently our first apprentice, he joined us in July 2007 and has just completed his first year. He has a passion for cars and motor racing also.
